Our conventional, 21-speed bikes are perfect for riding the carriage roads!
We buy our bikes only from top manufacturers, and we keep up with the latest trends in the industry to make sure we're providing you with the best possible hybrid bikes.
You'll be personally fitted with the right size bike, and we'll provide you with a free map of the carriage trails of Acadia National Park.
Each bicycle is equipped with a water bottle cage, and many have super-comfortable gel seats.
We provide free helmets with each rental.
We cater to families, providing a huge selection of children's bikes, tag-along attachments and child trailers.
You can ride directly into Acadia National Park or use the Bicycle Express* shuttle—between June 23 & September 30— to transport you and your bikes directly to the north end of the Eagle Lake carriage road loop.
In the case of a flat tire or mechanical difficulty, we have a "rescue" team on duty all day. You'll never be stranded with Acadia Bike.
Though we have hundreds of bikes in our fleet, we often strip our racks clean, so we advise reservations. Just give us a call at (207) 288-9605 and we'll get you all set up for the dates you choose.

All riders must have an Acadia National Park pass (one vehicle covers four riders). Click HERE to buy your pass online!

If you’d like to pick up your bike the afternoon prior to your rental, come between 4:00 - 4:30 p.m. and pay $10 per item to start your ride early!

Cancellation policy for conventional bikes:

If you need to cancel or change the date of your conventional bike reservation, please do so by noon the day prior to your rental to avoid being charged for the bikes and/or equipment. Call 800-526-8615 to speak with a customer service representative, as our booking system is not equipped to accept cancellations.

All prices include the all-important damage waiver fee, which protects you from accidental damages to the bike (this fee does not cover damages done to bikes by placing them inside vehicles, which is not permitted).
